Job Purpose:
As a Senior Financial Analyst within the Global OPEX Center of Excellence (COE), you'll play a key role in shaping the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) framework. Your primary focus will be managing operational expenditures (OPEX), forecasting, and reporting to support senior business leaders and stakeholders in effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support month-end close with variance analysis for streaming OPEX P&L
- Review actual spend data with finance partners and department heads
- Summarize key financial findings to aid decision-making
- Assist in forecasting cycles and maintain related planning systems
- Support the annual budget process including planning templates and assumption reviews
- Evaluate financial performance of business initiatives and assist in business case development
- Provide actionable insights to enhance profitability and efficiency
- Deliver timely, accurate, and relevant reporting
- Clearly interpret and communicate financial results and insights
- Continuously improve management reporting and financial processes
- Work on ad hoc projects and cost governance reporting as needed
- Support digital transformation within the FP&A function
Key Technical Skills:
FP&A, Financial Reporting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Variance Analysis, Microsoft Excel (Power Query, Power Pivot), PowerPoint, SAP BPC/SAC, Hyperion, Power BI, Business Case Analysis, Cost Analysis
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant experience, preferably in FP&A
- Strong understanding of forecasting and budgeting cycles
- Working knowledge of general accounting principles
- CIMA/ACCA certification (qualified or in progress) preferred
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently on projects
- Proactive, hands-on, and detail-oriented mindset
- Comfortable working with digital tools and financial systems (Hyperion, SAP, BI tools)
